HOWARD UNIVERSITY RECEIVES DONATION OF ITERO SCANNERS
Howard University Orthodontic Alumni Association is pleased to announce that it has received donations of two iTero Scanners for the school’s Orthodontics Department from generous alumni. These scanners will allow the students of the Orthodontics Department to have access to the latest technology in orthodontic patient care and treatment. We are so grateful for the continued support from our alumni that allows us to improve the way future students learn and provide patient care. We couldn’t do it without you!

RESIDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS
Drs. Patrice Smith and Sydney Simpson were selected to present their research at the AAO Annual Session 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Dr. Darryl Caesar participated in the Emerging Leaders Conference at the 2017 AAO Winter Conference.
In addition to attending the MSSO, MASO and AAO meetings, Howard residents also participated in the ADEA/AADR Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, and the AAO Advocacy Day. Advocacy Participants: Drs. Francis Badejoko, Jennifer Collins, Kishawn Kole-James (2015), Robert Mensah (2016 and 2017),Adrienne Perry.
Dr. Robert “Ray” Caesar was selected to attend the Robert T. Freedman Dental Society Leadership Workshop, sponsored by the NDA and Eddie G. Smith Leadership Institute. Workshops were held in June and September 2017.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024 on their 100% pass rate on the ABO Written Examination.

We are pleased to have Dr. Lobat Zainali (Howard 1992) join us as full-time faculty, as well as welcome part-time faculty Dr. Patrick Larosiliere (Howard 2001), Dr. Bob Kumra (Howard 2014), and Dr. Mohammed Masoud (Harvard 2006).
